You love a lot of things if you live around them, but there isn't any woman and there isn't any horse, not any before not any after that is lovely as a great airplane" ~Ernest Hemingway

Rides in the Waco

Vintage WacoSix hundred Waco UPF-7s were produced in the United States from 1938 - 1942. They were used as primary trainers for pilot training programs during World War II. After the war, only 186 planes remained, and became privately owned, making today’s Waco experience a unique one.
NC29338 was restored in 1984 and was purchased by Nick and Susan Baker in 2004. The front seat of this aircraft holds two passengers, unlike most biplanes. Capt’n Nick, a professional pilot, offers rides in the Waco to people who would like to experience the adventure together.
The open cockpit Waco flies at 100m.p.h. and is fully aerobatic. The plane is 23 feet long and has a 30 foot wingspan. Flying in the Waco requires an hour of your time for a spectacular sightseeing adventure!

Call for an appointment or look for Capt’n Nick outside Cable Airport’s Café.
